If you’ve ever wondered why your audience is engaging but not buying, this episode is going to shift everything. I’m sharing a powerful new framework I introduced during a recent training that had our live attendees and NBA students buzzing, and I knew I had to bring it to the podcast.

Inside this episode, I walk you through the Avatar Elevation Pyramid: a framework that helps you identify exactly who you’re attracting in your business right now… and whether they’re actually ready to buy from you.

We’re going way beyond traditional “ideal client avatar” talk, because let’s be honest, vague demographics and surface-level pain points just don’t cut it when it comes to attracting premium buyers.

I’ll show you the five types of audience members you’re likely speaking to — from the “sleeper” to the “seeker” to the “solver” and beyond — and help you determine which ones are draining your energy and which ones will actually invest.

Whether you’re brand new to business or 10 years in, chances are your messaging is attracting the wrong people… and this episode will help you shift that today.

How to Attract More Buyers by Elevating Your Client Avatar

Let’s get real for a second: If your content is getting likes, your freebie downloads are going strong, and people are sliding into your DMs with “so much interest” — but your sales still feel like pulling teeth — there’s a good chance you’re speaking to the wrong person.

And if that’s you, you’re not alone. I’ve seen this exact problem across hundreds of clients in our Nourished Business Accelerator (NBA) — from brand new coaches to seasoned practitioners making 6-figures or more.

The real issue? Most entrepreneurs are unknowingly building their businesses around an audience that isn’t actually ready or even willing to invest.

That’s why I created a new framework I call the Avatar Elevation Pyramid. I shared it in a recent live training, and the response was so powerful that I knew I needed to bring it here to the blog.

So if you’re tired of “engaged” followers who never buy, and you’re ready to attract aligned clients who do the work, get results, and say yes with ease, this post is for you.

Why Your Avatar is Everything (Yes, Still)

We’ve all heard about defining your “ideal client avatar”. It’s one of the first things you do when you start building your business. You might even roll your eyes when you hear it now.

But here’s the truth: Most coaches and service providers still don’t have this nailed down even 5 or 10 years into business.

Your avatar isn’t just about demographics or surface-level pain points. It’s about deeply understanding how your people think, feel, and make decisions, especially when it comes to investing in themselves.

And if you don’t have the right person in mind, no strategy, no launch plan, and no funnel will save you.

“99% of the people who come to work with us in the NBA program need to fix this before they move on to anything else.”

I see it over and over again: Practitioners trying to create great content, implement systems, run ads, or scale their offers, but they’re still speaking to an audience that will never buy from them.

So what do you do instead?

You elevate your avatar.

What It Means to Elevate Your Avatar

Elevating your avatar means shifting your entire business — your content, your offers, your messaging — to speak directly to people who are ready to invest and take action.

These are the clients who:

  • Say yes without ghosting

  • Pay in full (and on time)

  • Take action inside your program

  • Get great results (which leads to better testimonials)

  • And refer other like-minded, ready-to-invest clients

They don’t need convincing. They don’t ask for discounts. And they don’t DM you 17 times asking questions they could answer themselves if they just took action.

These are the clients who will grow your business.

The key is learning to identify who you’re speaking to and intentionally crafting your marketing and offers for the right people. That’s exactly what the Avatar Elevation Pyramid helps you do.

The Avatar Elevation Pyramid: The 5 Levels of Audience Readiness

Let’s break down the five levels of audience types inside the Avatar Elevation Pyramid.

You’ll probably recognize most (if not all) of these from your own audience. But the goal here isn’t to serve everyone. It’s to figure out who you want to work with — and who you shouldn’t be marketing to at all.

1. The Sleeper ( Definitely Not Your Client)

This is the person who either:

  • Doesn’t know they have a problem

  • Knows they have a problem but genuinely doesn’t care

  • Is actively avoiding doing anything about it

This might sound wild to you — especially if you’re someone who loves learning and growing — but these folks are not interested in changing. The pain of making a change feels bigger to them than the pain of staying stuck.

“It’s more painful for them to make a change than it is to experience the pain of the problem.”

And yet… I see coaches and practitioners trying to build offers for this type of person all the time. Why? Because they care so deeply and don’t want to leave anyone behind.

I love your heart, but here’s the truth: You will burn yourself out trying to help people who don’t want to be helped. And you cannot build a profitable business around this avatar.

2. The Struggler ( Wants Rescue, Not Responsibility)

The struggler knows they have a problem — and they might even say they want help — but they:

  • Only consume free content

  • Rarely (if ever) invest

  • Ask questions but never follow through

  • Want someone to do the work for them

They often come across as needy, and while your heart might go out to them, these clients will keep you stuck in an exhausting cycle of giving and giving without the energetic or financial exchange you need to sustain your business.

“They say they want change, but when it comes down to action, they disappear.”

Here’s the big thing: They’re not lazy or bad people. They’re just not ready. And trying to convert them is a losing game.

You are not here to rescue anyone.

3. The Seeker (⚠️ The Most Tricky to Spot)

This is where it gets really sneaky.

The seeker seems like an ideal client on the surface. They’re engaged, responsive, and maybe even purchase your low-ticket offers.

They’re always downloading things, asking thoughtful questions, and commenting on your stuff.

But here’s the catch: They’re addicted to learning, not doing.

They equate information with transformation and so they keep circling the drain, collecting more “aha” moments without ever implementing.

“They seek pleasure by gathering information. But what they’re really doing is avoiding the pain of not doing anything.”

These are the people who will have 15 tabs open of free masterclasses but never buy a single thing.

And here’s the kicker: They’re the most active on social media.

They’re the ones filling out your polls, replying to your stories, and acting super excited… until it comes time to invest.

If you’re getting a lot of engagement but not a lot of conversions, it’s probably because your content is speaking to the seeker.

4. The Solver (✅ Your Sweet Spot)

Now we’re getting to the good stuff.

The solver is the person who:

  • Knows they have a problem

  • Has already tried to fix it

  • Is ready to invest in expert help

  • Values time over money

  • Takes action (imperfectly, but consistently)

They’ve already done the DIY route and they’re done wasting time trying to piece it all together.

They’re not looking for more free resources, they’re looking for a path to results.

“The solver values their time more than they value saving money — they’re ready for the right support.”

These are the people who join your programs, do the work, and get great results.

They may not be the most vocal followers on social media, but they’re the ones lurking in the background, watching, evaluating, and when they’re ready… they buy fast.

If you want a profitable, sustainable business, this is the avatar you should be designing your content and offers for.

5. The Succeeding Avatar ( Premium Buyer Dream Client)

This person is already crushing it in some area of life or business and is always looking to optimize and elevate. They don’t necessarily have a “problem”; they just want to get to the next level faster.

  • They invest without hesitation

  • They take massive action

  • They stay in your world for years

  • They become your best case studies and referral sources

“These are the ‘I see it, I want it, I got it’ clients — nothing stands in the way of their goals.”

Now, not everyone is ready for this level, and that’s okay. But if you offer high-touch, VIP, or advanced-level support, this is your person.

They’re also more discerning and may have higher expectations, so they’re not necessarily “easy” clients, but they’re deeply committed and incredibly rewarding to work with.

So… Who Are You Really Speaking To?

Let’s pause and be honest for a second.

Are you creating your content and offers for the sleeper who doesn’t care?

The struggler who wants to be rescued?

The seeker who’s stuck in learning mode?

Or are you showing up for the solver who’s ready to do the work and invest in the right solution?

Because here’s the thing…

“You will drive yourself crazy trying to turn a struggler into a solver.”

That is not your job. You’re not here to change someone’s motivation. You’re here to speak clearly and directly to the people who are already motivated.

How to Start Attracting More Buyers (The Right Kind)

Now that you understand who you’re speaking to — and who you should be speaking to — here’s how to start attracting the elevated clients your business needs to grow.

✅ 1. Audit Your Content

Look at your last 5–10 posts or emails. Ask yourself:

  • Am I speaking to people who are already problem-aware and solution-seeking?

  • Am I offering empowerment or am I accidentally playing into victim narratives?

  • Am I educating… or enabling?

Stop creating content that hand-holds the seeker and start creating content that speaks to the values and mindset of the solver.

✅ 2. Use Empowering Language

Solvers and succeeding avatars aren’t looking for sympathy. They’re looking for a clear solution and someone they can trust to help them implement it.

Use language that reflects:

  • Ownership

  • Confidence

  • Clarity

  • Strategic results

Leave behind phrases like “you’re stuck” or “you’re overwhelmed” unless you’re following it up with how to take action and move forward.

✅ 3. Align Your Offers with Their Level

If you’re trying to sell a high-ticket offer to a struggler or a seeker, you’re going to hit wall after wall of objections.

Make sure your:

  • Offer promise is aligned with what solvers and succeeding avatars want

  • Pricing reflects the value of transformation, not just deliverables

  • Program is designed for action-takers, not information collectors

✅ 4. Be Okay With Repelling the Wrong People

Seriously… if you’re not repelling the wrong people, you’re probably not speaking clearly enough to the right ones.

It’s okay if your DMs go quieter.

It’s okay if fewer people comment.

If more of the right people are buying — that’s a win.

“The goal is not more engagement. It’s more aligned, invested clients.”

Final Thoughts: Your Elevated Avatar = Elevated Results

If you want to attract more buyers and grow a business that feels energizing, aligned, and profitable, you have to get crystal clear on who your message is for.

You can’t save everyone. But you can build a thriving business serving the people who are ready, willing, and excited to invest in themselves.

So the next time you go to write a post, record a podcast, or build a sales page — ask yourself:

“Is this for the seeker… or the solver?”

“Am I trying to convince… or am I clearly calling in?”

Because the energy you attract is a direct reflection of the energy you’re speaking to.

Speak to the elevated version of your dream client, and that’s exactly who will show up.
