About Jennifer Zucconi

Jennifer Zucconi is a registered dietitian trained in functional and integrative nutrition. She helps women with hypothyroidism and “unexplained” infertility use the healing powers of food and lifestyle to optimize their hormones and nourishes their pre-pregnancy health so they can bring new life into their families. After decades of her own misdiagnoses, struggles with infertility, medications that didn’t “fix” her problems, and multiple surgeries, Jennifer found a completely new way to heal. That’s what fuels her passion today as she helps couples get to the root cause of their infertility, so they can transform their dreams about parenthood into the joyful reality of expecting.

 

Nourishment is the Key to Fertility

A diagnosis of infertility doesn’t mean it’s the end. There is so much that you can still do to help you conceive. Hold on to hope. 

Many approaches to infertility focus on IVF. But there are other routes to take too. Nutrition has a huge role to play. So does the thyroid gland. Getting the right information through the right labwork will help you address the root causes of infertility.

Too often, people find themselves frustrated and dejected even after following every doctor’s recommendations. Jennifer takes the unique approach of focusing on nutrition as the next step. By focusing on nourishing the whole body, overall well-being will naturally improve. This includes fertility. Nourishment involves more than just what you eat. Your relationships, emotions, mind, and body all require nourishing.

 

The Thyroid and Fertility

Central to Jennifer‘s approach is the thyroid. Despite often being overlooked, this gland plays a crucial role in regulating much of the body. When the thyroid is unable to do its job, other systems in the body are going to shut down, particularly the reproductive system. Getting the right lab work will help identify potential hormonal issues so you’ll have the right information to address infertility at its root cause.
